Enikő Kovács, a master beautician from Törökbálint, has been in the profession for thirty years and has experienced a lot. He admits that he has always been afraid of lasers, but a friend of his saw a laser device from Germany that convinced him. A year ago, he decided to get one.
While browsing through Beauty Forum magazine, Enikő saw that soft laser equipment is also manufactured in Hungary. It was clear to him that he was ordering a home.

What did you expect from the Optikop Beautylaser?

I wasn’t expecting anything, because most machines are sold telling you that they can do this and they can do that, and in the end it turns out that it’s good for something, just not so much. I thought the same about soft laser treatment. I went to the courses where they told me what it could be used for, what the results would be, and I’m glad to see that it is.

How is soft laser treatment different from the rest?

It improves much faster than other therapies. Here too, one treatment is not enough, there are no miracles, but it is certain that the desired result is achieved much faster and the results are permanent. Other treatments can be used to maintain the level, and soft lasers solve the problem.

What is the feedback from your guests?

Guests are often surprised at how quickly it produces lasting results. For example, a woman in her 40s with oily seborrhoea has been trying for years to remedy a large pore caused by excessive sebum production, to no avail. She has weekly treatments and after the fourth session she felt a significant change.

What else do you use the device for?

I also use it for wrinkle treatment. The results of wrinkle treatments are less spectacular than those for problem skin, but guests feel the change and come back. I also work with fibre optics, and it always surprises me that after the sixth or eighth time I have to look for where to put it because I can’t find the crease. The skin does not completely smooth out, but the improvement is visible. Several of my clients have changed to other types of treatment because they feel the soft laser is more effective.

What is the most common problem you treat with soft laser therapy?

Acne plagues the lives of many teenagers, with boys in particular suffering from the painful squeezing and cleansing treatments. For them, soft laser treatment is a treasure. It makes cleaning the face painless. Acne disappears and no scars are left behind.

How has this device made your life easier?

It’s a great relief to save a lot of physical work and pushing.

What success story would you highlight from the past year?

Among my very first guests is a boy who I didn’t want to take on at first. Her acne was very deep, clumped together, almost completely covering the lower part of her face. I can tell you that, thanks to soft lasers, there is no trace of everything today. The boy is very happy. He used to say that he loves coming to see me, especially since I don’t have to push him.
